Hi Everyone!
This is the blog where I will have extra resources and assignment information for class.
Please check this blog every week for updates on class and new info about drawing and links to drawing sites and other interesting fun stuff. If I have anything important I will send a link from an email for you to refer to here. I'm looking forward to a Great Class!

Comics artist/ designer Chris Ware
I wanted to give you guys a taste of some other options for storytelling art. Chris ware stretches the maning of comics art with his heavily design oriented art style. Read through these. The Designers on in class might want to take a close look.

Hey everyone,
I've been looking over the pages and I've noticed a few things everyone or most everyone need to address
1. Drawing. The quality of drawing and lack of reference is coming clear. Please reassess, you all have much stronger skills in class.
2. Balance of black and white in the panels.
3. Line weight and line work. Control your lines, only use lines if they mean something.
These are all issues we've spoken about inclass. This week we will look more closely and consider it a WIP critique.
Keep working, and make a good show for class this week.

Drawing Hands!
As if these photos didn't give you a clue. I want you to make the same kind of sheet that you made last week for faces, of hands in different positions. 20 hand photos doing 20 different things, (punching, pointing, holding objects etc.) draw 20 nice clear drawings of those hands in those positions.
Pretty simple.
